Harry Potter is a goner being moved into a VP of Vacationing. New VP has been internally announced handover is happening at present. New VP coming over from the competition will be based in Dubai, really has his work cut out for him. Lets hope he can see through the team that Bouffard put together.

They will probably put him in a QHSSE role as that is where they put people they don't know what to do with. Weatherford doesn't realize the importance of QHSSE and that the people the move into that role most must have a firm belief in it and a strong understanding of the important role it plays within an organization! Stop moving losers into QHSSE! We need qualified people NOT rejects!!!!!!
I don't think its a coincidence that wireline went downhill since his roll along with the oil bust. There are others on his same branch of command that need to go and the restructuring has to start at the top in order to save this company... If its not too late!!!
My bet is that Bernard gives him some VP sales / account manager job.

No one is sure how Brice Bouffard got this position, rumor is he touted himself as an industry leading entrepreneur, but the results on his career at Weatherford are simple. He created Petroleum Consulting Services and was the VP, well the result a few years later…. Utter and shear disappointment with minimal revenue. As for his tenure as VP of Wireline, well wireline was on pace to generate $1B in revenue annually, with a very healthy profit. His arrogance, lack of technical wireline knowledge and endless focus on playing politics internally instead of focusing on his people and customers, leaving Weatherford Wireline to where sits today! Where is that, holding a monthly burn rate of $55M and revenue which is far below that, sales and market share are on an ever decreasing downward slide and revenue targeting half of what it once was. His unrelenting ARROGANCE, left the good people to either quit or be phased out, leaving him to try and learn the wireline business on the fly. This is not so unfamiliar to other product lines within Weatherford.
The facts are simple under Brice Bouffard’s reign: decrease in overall revenue, decrease in profitability, loss of overall market share and the list goes on and on. But…. Do worry we can hide how bad it is “if we throw Testing, Fishing and anything else in”.
They need to replace a lot of useless managers, and get rid of the good ol boy bullshit, then they probably could get it right, But I doubt it!

It seems there will be a bunch of layoffs in Sept and this time it will be the big paychecks.
Weatherford loves 'Peter's Principle'- which is that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence. The problem is, that they are slow to determine that they have put incompetent people in positions until it is way too late! Even then, they just continue to move them around instead of getting rid of them!
He is about as tall as Marty McFly, and definitely wishing he could go back in time.
