Worst BU out there...... Hope it all goes down the drain for all the suckers left there....

The problem with AMBU is at the time of the incident they had over 300 people working the command center, so no one had anything to do. Now after they laid off most of the Atlas folks that had experience they still have a whopping 500 + people in AMBU. Drilling 1 well a month, then shutting them in because they couldn't control the gas flow. Wasted 9 million dollars. They have no well count for the beginning of the year. If this isn't their sign, then I don't know what it is. The Finance person Rick Guyton should be fired for not being able to report the exact financial situation on the BU in the very beginning, then you had Bruce totally mess up the BU, prime example of his behaviors on that video. Then Nigel and the HR Manager, both are blowing smoke up the employees butts, and worst of all, they believe it. AMBU will be sold to EQT by November 1 and very few employees will be moved out. Chevron is in too bad of shape to transfer AMBU rejects back to Houston. They failed terribly because of mismanagement and lack of respect for experienced workers.
Do you know if AMBU is really at 0.85 an M? This is true after 4 years? I know that that BU is bad really bad but 85 cent realized price? If that is the truth that would truly be a record of inefficiency. I can get three Mexican immigrants in front of the Food Town off Sam Houston and use shovels and hand augers and we would beat 85 cents! Can anyone confirm this? My jaw hit the kitchen table last night.
I saw that Chevron will NOJV this BU. This has been discussed since the contracts were written in early winter. I have since left but I bet none of them have been executed as Chevron can't execute the ETC layoff conference room at the hotel. Am I right? I firmly believe they will not get it done and the BU will just wither!
I just read where a employee said everything is relatively the same all through Chevron. AMBU was formed under this current leadership which has failed at everything. AMBU is uniquely bad in the Enterprise. I was there after the fatality and can say the behaviors and attitude after the death of a young man were atrocious. I left after two days. People laughing, joking, eating swapping war stories, From a business standpoint you have not figured out phase 1 or 2 and to what I have been told you still have not. I would advise SJVBU, GOMBU, DWEP, MCBU, CBU if you think your BU is horrible visit AMBU you will see it can get worse. For two days we talked about the pizza fiasco that made the national news instead of focusing on well control. REALLY! Why people would not actively try and get out of there is beyond my imagination. You do have to take some personal responsibility because you still are there. I also should have pondered that trip. I am still with the Enterprise myself.
