Future of the company

People who can please their boss, even though they are not really good, mess, lazy but they are smart ass, they always ahead from a good employees, too bad so many boss can't see it or they know it but they don't care. Leadership Team is bias and irrational in making any decision. Smart ass and bullshit people are more worthed and valuable assets for the company. They mistreat the real hard worker and high skilled people. It's a multinational company but they're still dealing with high nepotism and bad office politics.

Well then you must have a good boss. ConocoPhillips does have good and bad bosses. Unfortunately only the ass kissing employees will survive the bad bosses.

You think that's bad? National Oilwell Varco has the worst management I've ever encountered. Doesn't matter if you have a degree or how skilled or experienced you are at your job, either you're in your corporate managers clique and stick your nose up the rim as far as you can and kiss it or you're out! Don't you dare have a mind of your own!

Every company has office politics.

My experience was that things were a lot better at COP than most other places I worked.
