To Anonymous139566 Its the only way HR thinks they add value. HR adds value by getting out in the population and helping managers develop into better managers, developing new supervisors and helping employees with various situations. Learning and understanding all the policies of the organization and being able to interrupt them for the human population. Our role is to develop the people within our organization , not bully them, or fear us. But be there to develop the organizations biggest asset their employees. Unfortunately, Chevron missed the boat on what Human resources really is and started all these programs that take up a lot of time and people, when they should go back to basics. Keep it simple, people want their paychecks and to continue to improve and move up in their positions.

That is comical that all these processes just don't add any value as they were intended. Just look at the state of affairs and you can see the failure in the entire enterprise. I am just giving opinion here as I don't work there but know many that do. No way they keep that expense for an entire BU for that amount of wells. The feelings of many that I know there is that much of the acreage is no longer of value because Chevron could not hold on to the leases because they were not competent enough to drill. The original production plan for 300 wells a year had more to do with lease holds, than it had to do with economies of scale and profit.
You are on your own, Jack.

Don't count on HR, they are useless, they are all going back to school for HR, and Upper Management has no balls to tell everyone, plus they have to CHDP it , CSOC it and hire BGBC for another million dollar project to tell them that the business unit is failing.
