Not to worry, everything is ok (for the chosen few). I understand from a buddy in Perth that King Roy and spouse will still fly First Class to California in November for a week plus of staying at Four Seasons HMB for "meetings" (= golf, whisky, cigars) and then San Ramon for more of the same (including big shindig hosted by Watson at fancy museum). And all VP's, MD's and spouses from around world will do the same. I'm sure this trip will help Gorgon, Wheatstone, Bigfoot, ALNG, EGTL, Chaundongbay, etc. all get up and running. Seems like the cost cuts and pinkslips are for the masses only...

ALI MOSHIRA still has a company paid driver and dedicated black SUV of his own. I see this driver with a blue badge every day. I guess Papa Terra, EGTL and ALNG are making enough cash-flow to pay for chauffeur for him.
How does it feel that Chevron execs are committed to the dividend come Hell or High-water, and will cut costs (corp-speak for layoff as many people as it takes) to maintain the dividend "no matter what the price of oil is" according to Pat Yarrington, while not cutting back on their own boondoggles?
