Yeah... I watched that 3-minute video that George Kirkland made on Chevron's "award winning" Decision Analysis Process, the same process used at Gorgon and Wheatstone, mind you. While you listen to Kirkland go on about this cockamamie process, watch the Chevronites in the video snipets go about their supposed everyday planning and collaboration work. Looks to me more like the Blind leading the Blind. By-the-way, Kirland retired from Chevron a few months ago, leaving us holding the bag in Australia. He's on a beach somewhere (not in Australia) sunning his fat ass, drinking a piña colada and checking his investments online. I'm sure he cashed out of CVX stock before leaving the building on his last day in the office. Lol.

Why do you think that is??? So many people posting such ugliness about the company they work for on this website. An outsider looking at this would certainly have a tainted view of our good company. People need to control themselves, they are making their own beds.

They are all ass kissers, nothing more than that. They talk about CSOC principles. Just a lot of talk. Analysis paralysis and perpetual cycle of bad decisions and poor execution.

Remind me, when was that lavish George Kirkland retirement love-fest? Wasn't it just a few months ago, when he and his lovely wife were jetted to all the Chevron locations and toasted and celebrated for all the wonderful years? All the great work, wise decisions and awesome projects such as Gorgon, Wheatstone, ALNG, EGTL and more? All the flowery fawning speeches by various executives (Jay Johnson was so effusive!) and all our forced applause? Such fond memories.

The point is, is 42% the worst? I doubt. Hold tight pocket and watch out your money. Damn!

Finally, someone is seeing Kirkland for who he is, a robber baron who gave not one of his precious turds for anyone other than his fat self.

It is funny that, there is no remedy for Gorgon and how they plan to bring the project online. All they are doing is a ROM and show off to investors that they cutting costs, without changing the fundamentals that made us here. This is shows a level of incompetency. BP, Shell, Exxon, and COP are doing much much bettie compare to CVX, they are going through the same cycle but their stocks haven't dropped 42%. Still we are f***ing around with Chevron Way, CSOC, CPDEP, OEMS, and those none sense which they added no value but cost increase and waste. Management needs to wake up to reality and dismantle these inefficient process
