I am interested in what some of EDMC's employees will do if they get laid off. I work with people that, literally, can't spell and are borderline mentally disabled or recovering drug addicts. Where are they going to end up? They will go from 60K+ to under 20K. I am interested in hearing from them. Are you not terrified? It is really sad. Are you mad? There is no way you can make as much as you do now in the real world. You are in trouble. Like I said; sad, really sad!

Exactly 633. Middle management jobs do not typically pay what edmc does. It makes me sick how much they make a year to do nothing.
No one is worth 100K at AI, at least. Based on the shit I've seen go on today I would not hire these people to watch my goldfish. May EDMC rot in hell.
Have any of you guys tried going on and just f***ing yourselves? Or just realizing that you don't deserve to make what a doctor makes just for an entry-level, sleezy sales job? Just a thought.
@Anonymous141506, if you are in recruiting or administration, I'm sorry for your children but not for you. Maybe your whole family has something to learn from this experience. For example, if you make $100K, it's hyperbole to say you'll be "on the streets." But you may end up rejoining the working class. BTW: If you are making 100K, what did you do to resist the predatory "recruiting" behavior that was prevalent at EDMC? I don't think any of this is funny. I make well over 100K and have 3 kids. I am able to afford a lot for them. If I lose my job, I will be out on the streets. I am very worried. When they pulled us into that room and told us our jobs were secure, I believed them.

Now let's be nice here people, I mean when they cut out the 401k match and did away with raises two years in a row they had to throw in another perk. Just consider the ladies the bonus compensation. I mean why wouldn't you want to collect a paycheck and bone all of the hotties that work there. Just give a shout out to AN from AUO for keeping a fresh supply of hotties rolling in. He's always got about 4-5 that are more than doable. And furthermore it's a great team building activity! Sharing is caring and having multiple people share the same venirial disease is team playing at its best!
This site is great! I can't get over how accurate these people are. BB and FT have banged half of the staff. I know people that have hooked up with them. They are greasy as hell; they tell girls that they are in love and as soon as they bust their nut, they are gone. They may buy you dinner though.

141084 you couldn't be more right. I got my BA at AUO and get laughed at when I apply for work. 6 months of experience are worth more than a $90,000 degree. All for-profit degrees are nothing.

I love EDMC! You are just a loser that was fired because you suck at your job. I get to f*** all the girls I want here. I see them in the parking lot getting out of cars wiping there mouths. They are all dumb State school sluts that just give it up because they don't know any better. Yeah, I have herpes because of it, but that is only because of how many skanks there are. There are guys there that should be arrested.
What is sad is that so many people worked at EDMC for the free degrees. Imagine having a BA from AI and a PHD from Argosy + the work experience at EDMC. Your career and education is worthless.
That is very true. I worked with a guy that was there for like 10 years that had severe trauma from his drug addiction. He was fed leads from PH. I was always amazed at how he was successful. That's EDMC for you.
It will be a real wake up call for them. I feel very sorry for those that have kids. It is so f***ed up!
What about those making over 100K? They won't make that kind of income ever again. These guys are clueless as to what the job market is like
