Anyone have a rough estimate of what our Cost Per Barrel is? I thought I had read a while back that is was in the 90s.

Cost/ bbl varies depending on a lot of factors. But I can guarantee you, Exxon has never drilled a well with a $90 cost per bbl. The very highest cost per bbl I know of is some of the small shale operators in the US at about $70/ bbl. Exxon is very conservative and manages it's business very well. Classy company with a lot of good people. Go over to the CVX layoffs and listen to some of the bitching and you'll get an idea of just how great XOM is,
Thats right. The cost per barrel is about $90 and then Exxon sells it for $50 a barrel. So they lose $40 for every barrel sold. Its a brilliant business strategy.
