Yes you can. Tx only considers regular monthy income. I got 60 weeks severance pay and 1 million lump sum pension. Both were lump somes, so it was not considered monthly income so I qualified.
The individual states manages the unemployment benefits for US states. Ideally collect final pay, vacation pay and severance pay and then file for unemployment. Cash out a 401K with caution to avoid issues with the unemployment benefits.
Agreed - even if it's $10,000+ you report that and they only consider that as your single weekly income. Next week - you file again and get your normal unemployment benefits.
Yes you can. COP reports that as income so the week you get the check you won't get unemployment benefits. Texas is $465 weekly for me up to around $12,000 max.
