Well the official vote numbers came out 747 out of 751 voted to strike. Our "leadership" came out to tell us not to fret. All is well and we are 90% there. My relief asked this question to the leadership "Did we not make any progress in the last 6 months?" WELL OF COUSE WE DID! "Six months ago we were at 90% complete!". The whole place laughed and laughed and laughed. It was also suggested the leadership team actually spend a week on the project with the multiple PM's. Again hysterical laughing. Jay Johnson announced that industrial action and the wet season will AGAIN DELAY the project. Another question was HOW MUCH LONGER until this project turns in? No answer, not even an attempt! HAS THE JAY JOHNSON NEWS GOTTEN BACK TO THE STATES?

Delays due to normal weather (wet season) are a laughable excuse for pathetic project execution. I can't believe Gorgon project leadership still have jobs.
No sir, I have not heard of any of this news. Not a surprise though. I noticed he chose to use the words "industrial action" (code word for "strike") and more delays due to "wet season". I'm sure he could have added a few more reasons for the delay. And "90% complete"... One could only hope the project is really that fall along. Please keep us on top of things in Australia, Sitting at Gorgon. If only your words could reach the ears of the analysts asking the questions at the upcoming 3Q earnings conference call.
