Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

I am so happy those stupid managements are being laid off

Some of them really need to be eliminated. Those stupid managers know neither oil/gas industry nor people management. They are good at kissing ass and are really wasting the company's money. Halliburtpn indeed needs to flat its management structure, especially in the North Belt center.

As a past vendor to Halliburton, I hope the cuts hit all of the procurement/lifecycle managers that require vendors to pay them kickbacks in order to get work from Halliburton,

Payback is a bitch ain't it Paul E.

Sperry's operation team? sperry may be a god (pagan). It will never be the God of anything. Sperry needs 17 billion in R>>your ranging gear is OLD. you know deep down inside (in the back of your mind), that sperry is dated and in need of HELP.

Just so know american organizations destroy any hope of Canadian growth by strictly defining what they can and can not do. Hence Halliburton shrinking year over year in Canada since the early 90s.

Sperry the ranging god, and the operation team to keep it like that.

They are flattening organization from the bottom. Removing key employees and functional managers. Most of ass kissers are still working and do all the firing.

If Nisku is run better then ever, why do Phoenix, Weatherford, Scientific, & Baker have most of the work? NISKU in years past (80's, 90's, even early 2000's), Fall meant 30 plus jobs. Now their Ranging tools have serious competition & the place that they thought they would own forever ... they don't. Sperry Canada put all of its eggs in the range in basket, failing to diversify and take conventional work. This vital flaw coupled with poor leadership and service quality has led to the demise of Sperry Canada. Like anything in life there is seasons, unfortunately for Sperry Canada, this is a dark season....victim not only of market circumstance but company karma.

SPERRY CANADA IS DEAD. NISKU OPPS ARE OUT OF TOUCH. WHEN I LEFT I REOLIZED HOW BROKEN THAT PLACE WAS. FROM THE OUTSIDE YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY IN...CALGARY DOESN'T HAVE MUCH TO WORK WITH, HAVING AN OPPS TEAM LIKE NISKU (SPERRY). EVEN IF THEY GOT NEW WORK, NISKU WOULD LOOSE IT. WHOEVER BUYS SPERRY CANADA IS IN FOR PAIN. OLD TECH, POORLY MANAGED, & PROUD ENOUGH TO FAIL.
