IP address means shit. They need a court order to link IP to a name. QCOM is not the nsa

If you don't disclose IP or confidential materials, and you aren't defaming anyone, who cares? It's not worth suing anyone. And courts take a dim view of people--especially well-lawyered persons such as corporations--using lawsuits to intimidate people.

No, it's not. Nothing is private. As soon as you are assigned an IP address, you are linked. As soon as your device gets a MAC address you are linked. You are connected, linked, all the time, everywhere

Read their Privacy Policy - when posting, if you cross the line, they reserve rights to disclose your IP. They are defining what 'crossing the line' means. They collect IP addresses only when you post.
