Great Ad Placement Marketing!

Not only oustandingly awful graphics and text, but what target market savvy, placing QPorn on a site with POed, punch-drunk employees. So, was the "brain" graphic ad a secret marketing missiion locate the missing brains at the top.

Better: When the AM thing was a hot discussion topic, I think I saw their ads at least half a dozen times. I'm betting Pizza, Coke, beer, discount flight tickets, and Pope-knick-knacks/memorabilia will be all the rage this weekend!

It's because you visited QUALCOMM.com and you got cookied. So you visited any other website that's a member of the ad network they're placing ads with and it'll show up. And yes, the campaign is dog shit.

I know what he's talking about. QCOM must have an "ad-bot" that places their "Why bother...." ad on websites that get unusually heavy traffic. Yeah, we all got a chuckle over the "brain thing" back when they paid $5 billion for a stock buyback that QCOM could have saved $2 billion on if they had waited a couple of months.
