Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

America's companies are hoarding $1.4 trillion in cash (and ConocoPhillips has $3.8 billion) and the fallacy thereof.

http://money.cnn.com/2015/09/25/investing/us-companies-cash-hoard/index.html?section=money_latest -- America's companies are hoarding $1.4 trillion in cash (and ConocoPhillips has $3.8 billion) -- But the article fails to note the additional $2.5 billion debt last quarter via the credit line and the $3.5 billion dividend to be paid. The money in the bank, and then some, is already spoken for. Time to sell more assets. Ryan Lance and the smoke and mirrors magic show, October 5, 2015, Houston.

Jun YTD dividend from the 10Q is $1.819B. This was before the $0.01 per share increase, so $3.7B is probably a very good estimate.
