Seriously you should all quit complaining. L3 pays you to work 2-3 hours out of a 12 hour day and then gives you the bird (turkey) once a year!
The real fun figures start with the dinner meetings, travel, etc. with fellow directors and above. Andy the savior would scoff and proclaim that mid 5 figures is chump change.

I found a letter in my Director's desk, it said, Shmidlap, what are you doing rooting through my desk, get back to work you lousy bum and don't even think about stealing my $50,000 bonus check because I already cashed it and spent it all at the Indian casino. PS I won a big jackpot
I also found a letter in my Directors desk. It was from another Director. A love letter. Really mushy stuff. Both married. Both got bonuses. Now, both are getting in-office @$$. All I got was an already de-thawed turkey that reeked of ammonium. They will lay me off because of the turkey...
My director called and asked me to get something out of her desk. I went and opened her desk and amongst other things there was a letter and bonus stub. Mid 5 figures. As much as I make in a year, and I do most of her work. But they will lay me off if need be.
What is "Voluntary w/no package" does that mean they resigned to take another job?
In my group: 18 total, 2 Early Retirement, 4 Laid Off, 1 Voluntary w/ package, 7 Voluntary w/ no package. That's 77% who left. They hired 1 making us 27% of what we use to be.

I needed some work done on my bathroom so I called CSW. They said it would be about $750000. I said gee that's a lot to remodel a bathroom. They said no,thats just the initial study and requirements analysis. On a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis. So I called Home Depot.
They have sealed their fate, doomed for disaster.
