I couldn't agree more, this IS the hunger games. .. you tell us shared fate, you tell us tm happiness, yet you force us to fight each other for our own livelihood! Not cool, president Snow. Not cool.
Don't think it was meant to be a joke at all since they are pitting TM's up against each other for the same jobs. Seems like an accurate metaphor.
