Curious if anyone has heard anything specific to the Midwest? I haven't heard a peep in my store, but things just changed (for the worse) with the structure of gainsharing, so I'm wondering what's next. I'm so upset to hear all of this, I still can't wrap my head around it but I honestly can't say I'm too surprised...

I'm in an IL store as we haven't heard much. I heard rumblings from people I know down south and that's how I'm aware of this. I know leadership will be on the call Monday but they've been keeping it quiet so if there are going to be layoffs of buyers etc... No one here is even close to being aware of it.
This is the first I've heard of this whole layoff thing (I'm in a MI store). I know they are doing classes about a new gainsharing program but they haven't said much about that either, just that we had to sign up for the classes
25¢/hour cap is you actively getting screwed over vs. the old system. What a total bummer.
After this current gutting, why would we still have gainsharing? In MA region, you really only do okaywith it if you're actually screwed over by call outs or chronically short staffed. How pathetic that global and regional leadership is so willing to throw the bench strength under the bus like this.
I guess in all MI locations (there were a couple other states too that I can't remember) they are piloting a new program to change it so that it's based on overall store sales, instead of team labor. There's a cap on it so that tm's will only make 25¢/hour for gainsharing, whereas right now my team is over 6 times that much even in the slow summer months, with the old gainsharing structure. Honestly I don't quite understand it enough to completely explain it, but I know it's screwing us
Can you explain what restructuring of gainsharing you encountered? My fellow tm's and I were talking today about how we would not be surprised if that is done away with soon.
