OH, A LOT of people knew about this. Nothing of this magnitude is put together overnight. They had to strategize, develop and run the severance packages by legal, run the numbers with finance, etc. My region stopped back-filling certain positions (marketing) over a month ago, so yea, a lot of people at the global and regional level were aware.

Its also true that regional people with friends in those positions at store levels let it slip. Some even help transfer or write their resumes up to guarantee theyll be 'perfect' for rehire. Its sad really. Id rather be rehired on my skill, knowledge, and comittment than to have a 'friend' backstab my equals like that
But it makes no sense. It was a response so it doesn't stand well on it's own. That's probably why no one is really contributing to it.
It's not like they stole it and signed it with her/his name - Think in terms of somebody appreciating and promoting your post by creating a new thread. This site is too funny.
