I can confirm MTL are combining to cover multiple stores almost entirely throughout the company--"metros" we were the pilot and it sucks hard. No attachment or community involvement; everything is reactive. That's said as a perishable product team leader we are all dreading(tomorrow--well today as I just got home from inventory) Monday for call to tell us about our "restructuring"

I am an MTL. No job after tomorrow. I was the first person in my store to have a meeting with my STL. When I left that day she was alone, crying in her office. Yes, she has a job. But this is not easy for her. Everyone at the store level is the victim. It is corporate headquarters that are responsible, not TLs and STLs.
I was told MTL in SW are safe. Hope so!
Please read the many posts about this. The answer is Yes. Marketing Team Leader...nearly all regions. Several regions are combing multiple teams and having the 3 current TLs apply for the 1 new combined position. Stores with multiple ASTLs may also eliminare one in some regions. TLs are not all that different from you. Our jobs suck and get more overwhelming every year. Even those of us not on the chopping block or with any tms on it want NOTHING to do with this.
