My store is keeping everything super hush-hush but everyone is walking around on pins and needles not knowing what to do. Any other MW people have any info? We are pretty freaked out.

OP here, thanks for the info guys. I'm based out of Chicago and they are being so tight-lipped about it. TLs just got called into an emergency meeting so I feel like this is the calm before the storm
Here in MW we lost as ASTL a couple days ago. Meat TL was fired a month ago and his job was never posted. I think this has been in the planning for a while.
MN Metro is going down to 1 metro marketer and 2 assistant marketers. Current marketers will all have to apply for the jobs or take severance
MW here. Only buyers had meeting with TL and were not allowed to disclose ANY details. Apparently new job contracts are involved. Everything sounds very shady and secretive.
its still store by store, I think But at mine marketing got cut. Buyers are being cut and Some other positions depending on store and location. Stinks.
MN store here, marketing got the axe. Grocery buyers at our store told they are safe because we're already short buyers. Other stores in the metro apparently not as lucky because they have been deemed 'overstaffed' with buyers. No news on combining teams or blanket layoffs. I have no news on other teams. Meetings are on going.
