Also wondering -- I guess you don't really push the "Whole Trade" or "Fair Trade" products too much in your day to day work? Perhaps you just agree that farmworkers should be paid poverty wages too? After all, WFM isn't responsible for it's suppliers, right?
Ok, so WFM just profits off the cheap labor, so they're not responsible at all -- makes sense. I'll ask again: Do you agree with a minimum wage? That is, a minimum wage paid for a certain amount of work completed? Do you not see the intersection between a system of mass incarceration and then using that mass of incarcerated workers for sub-minimum wage labor? That sub-minimum wage labor actually puts hardworking families like mine out of work or acts to keep our wages lower. Finally -- yes and no: Yes, I will organize in my store, in my metro, in my region. No, I will not stop there and haven't stopped there. This is happening everywhere and if you think it's just one "troll" then you're way, way, way off.
READ THE ARTICLE- ITS THE CREAMERY'S PROGRAM... NOT WF's PROGRAM- EDUCATE YOURSELF. Stop all of the fear mongering on the Internet and go organize your own store or metro troll.
boo hoo a huge corporation had to pay a fine lol
Do you believe in a minimum wage? And you're taking the bosses (who profited off prison labor) at their word? Ok... As someone who does work organizing incarcerated workers, it's hardly a "click bait" issue. Disgusting.
Yes as in learning an applicable skill to use after release in a voluntary program for non violent offenders:

Also no one was cheating Tare weights, it's human error. NYC just wants to make money off a huge corporation.. Big surprise.
To say we were cheating is a big insult to all prepack teams in every department! Did you know the company still gets fined for things that are under weight that were NOT packaged in the store?? Including soaps, pasta sauces, etc
So, in other words, prison labor.
The "prison labor" was a prisoner work and rehabilitation program used by a cheese producer in CO, whole foods wasn't the only place that sold that creameries cheese. Do your homework and don't get suckered into click bait.
