I think you are wrong. The marketing tl position does exist. You have to reapply for the restructured position. Where are you?
Loyalty? That has to be earned. The only thing this tests is an employer's level of desperation: do I suck it up and work two or three times as hard for less pay because WFM is so gee darn awesome (and possibly go through this all over again when the next round of job cuts comes)? or do I thrust myself into the unknown and face months of possible unemployment?

Well, probably because the Marketing TL position no longer exists. That's a pretty good indication.

Marketing TLs were cut in this process (or haven't you read) many of us have been here for years and were making over $25/hr.
