Guess what we're profitable too. This is about corporate greed.
I am a TL who worked long and hard for more than a decade to get where I am, with a company I "believed in".
I have fought with store and regional leadership often when decisions after stupid, and wasteful and contrary decisions were made that didn't seem to align with core values. I have realized over time that we have NO DIRECTION.
I was not smiling today.
I was sleep walking. I was waiting. Knowing that I wouldn't get called in to the confetence room, but wishing I would. I want someone to tell me I can stop trying, stop caring, stop believing. I am just beating my head against a f***ing wall every day as a team leader with this company.
It's been valueless for quite a while. Maybe if management hadn't buried their heads in the sand, we wouldn't be done as a company.
I am a tl. And let me tell you, we are NOT smiling. Kool aid is indeed flowing, but at least in my store... No one in store leadership is drinking.
It's a sad time, and we are becoming a sad, valueless company.
