Were all buyers and supervisors given the chop in the south? I'm in the Midwest and I'm hearing conflicting reports.

The post the begins with "reduced" is correct information
They've been telling us for the last couple of months that certain leadership titles on certain teams were going to be terminated. No employees were going to be losing their jobs or getting paid less. Their pay, their hours would not change...but the title of their current position will not exist any longer.
To be honest, The buyer position on smaller teams has been a redundant job for years in my opinion In most cases, TL's and ATL's can absorb that job easily without blinking an eye...It's not needed.
I sincerely hope this is what all the commotion is all about.

No one is making anything up, the details are still hazy...ie, store leadership doesn't have all the answers to give us. Call your regional PBS and ask them. Aaron Lee has offered to make himself available to south region TMs. Call him first thing in the am!
Reduced available positions based on store volume. 4 buyers might only have 1 spot now, for example. All buyers and supervisors have to reapply for the position. Customer service is allotted 3 sups below 500k and 4 above 500k. meat, seafood, speciAlty no longer have sup positions. Prepared foods down to one or less based on volume. produce one or less. Your region might be different.
These union agitators are making all this stuff up, that's why there are conflicting stories.
Meetings at 8am... We will see what happens then. From what i hear it's store by store on what they want to fire.
