Saying there are only 1500 layoffs IF every single open position is filled. These team members don't want to fight their friends and colleagues for jobs. Most of the supervisors and buyers at my store are just moving on- which means more than expected are taking severance and leaving the company.

Ousted MTL, I think they took down the SuccessFactors postings because they are going to do the filling of positions only internally and using a "streamlined" application and interview process. That's what they told us in the PBS conference call yesterday in my region. They're having us just fill out which positions we want to be considered for, let the Regional person know, and then do one twenty minute interview with no due diligence or SF application process.
I have a feeling the amount of people leaving is going to be way higher than they calculated.
They took down the postings on successfactors before announcing the cuts BTW
