There is only one course of action for all team members:
Sign a union card ASAP! Call your local union and tell them you need representation ASAP!

So whats the Remedy roll over and let them mount you.I rather fight and make it as difficult process as possible.Been with WFM 14yrs....
Seriously? Unions are merely strong arm operations that benefit good old boys with seniority. They have grown into corrupt organizations that practice nepotism and benefit a mere handful of employees while collecting dues from members forced to join in order to gain employment...no thanks.
Whole foods as a company bought into their own hype-- terminally unique leadership style, expertly trained team members, organic and environmental integrity, and philanthropic stewards of both the environment and fair trade commerce. Unfortunately, it takes more than hype and resting on the laurels of the company's historical culture to remain a "mission driven company" that is both profitable and committed to its core values.
A demonstration of integrity, such as cuts at the global and regional level would be a step in the right direction. Cuts at the store level directly affect customers, a regional VP accepting an early retirement buyout would have little impact on customer service at ANY store.
Good luck pal.
Union member here. That's not exactly how it works. But yeah, after years of working at this company, I certainly think we need to organize.
LOL.
No thanks- if you want a union job, take your severance and get a job at a union shop.
That's enough out of you. K thanks bye
What a joke. Unions aren't going to do anything to help- trading one tyrant for another isn't the way to go.
