I got my walking papers today. We have three options. Take the severance, stay in our current role and apply for other positions, or something called a bridge. The point is, WFM is reporting that they are doing everything to help us find other positions, but those being offered are part time.

You're options are take the severance pay plus eight weeks pay, work the eight weeks then receive the severance pay when you never get a job , work the eight week and then get higher paying job or work the eight weeks then get a lower paying job and use the bridge option to receive your original jobs full pay until your bridge account runs out of money
The offer of a FT position will depend on your team and labor budget for the new fiscal year starting today. You were budgeted before, but your team may not be able to afford that FT position going forward. It will all come down to your individual team and store.
Your TL and STL has the option of offering FT position to you if you were forced out from buyer. You're already budgeted into the schedule at full time.
Maybe you could just tell us what position you were in?
