I am a CS supervisor In the South. I knew this would happen eventually, but I thought we would keep gimmicking America until the cows came home. Too many incompetents being content with not pushing themselves. This is not the WFM Mackey dreamed up, maybe we are going to be a Publix. My TL isn't worth **** is yours? I have until Friday to decide too, with 3 kids etc.. Blah, blah

So you're saying your TL and buyer are worthless? Whole Foods hires their store and department leaders by a panel vote. Any TL interview should have at the very least 9-10 people on the panel. Including the store's STL, ASTL and at least 2-3 bigwigs from the regional office.
If your TL sucks? Imho....that could be a direct extension of not only your store sucking? but of your region sucking. Most of the time.
In your defense though....it does happen. I totally stand by WF's interview process. That said, I've witnessed an absolute piece of shit, lying, scum of the earth, terrible human being, completely fool everyone, and get a TL position just because his former teams comp'ed all the time.
Some stores seem to demand that kind of leadership. But you'll never find me working for any of them. Life's too short.
My TL and buyer are worthless.
