Have you ever been in Texas? There is a good reason why they have low taxes and cheap housing. Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua is even cheaper.
Op - Why do you and other homo people talking about homes think people will sell. People do find other jobs. Ever think about that you dumb brainless idiot?
OP, I agree trend is changing , lot of people moving to Texas and Florida, in the short and long term SD housing market will see downward trend
which non-north county zips are hot? i know i know -- nothing exists outside of north county. it's like the edge of the bitter landlord's truman show bubble. I even tried some North County. where's all the growth in 92067? Are they all worried Obama will take their guns and water away, and packed up for Texas?
ha! still the ONLY selling point on SD is the weather, and that ridiculous "they aren't making more land" argument. Will the weather get better 13% YoY? Will jobs increase outside of low paying service jobs (and "high paying" bartender jobs)? Demand is driven by a bunch of fad midwestern folks trying to escape the cold, and wanting to eat 2 pound burritos of ghetto meat. Meanwhile, people are leaving California in droves for low tax states.
FYI - go to city-data.com and check out the population growth numbers for SD zip codes. it's staggering, with some ZIPs growing over 5% year over year. Now, tell me where those folks will live and if the inflow drops or raises prices. As long as we have 350 days of sunshine a year, super low humidity, 1% property tax, median temps in the seventies there will be an elevated demand for property. QC is a drop in the bucket in our local economy, you might as well wipe out the whole company (you'll have to wait a couple of decades to see that royalty stream fizzle) and it'll still be a blip. In the mean time, I'd suggest to you to brush up your skills and learn something useful that may allow you to earn enough money to buy a home here, I know, renting sucks. Posting fairy tales like the one you keep inserting here will not help you in any capacity.
