Yea we are lucky alright lol. They also said "you shouldn't count on gainshare $ anyway". Well now I don't, thanks!

My store was forced into the new program, too. We had always voted for separate gainsharing, and are being forced into a storewide plan that is less rewarding. We were told that we are "lucky" that we get to be apart of the pilot.
The gainshare restructure is very real my friend.
I work in MI and we were forced into the new gainsharing program last month, so its def not a rumor.
Because it's bullshit. All these rumors and far fetched ideas are scare tactics coming from supervisors/buyers who have lost their jobs. The only people who are losing jobs are people who suck at their jobs. If you've been with the company for 5,10,15 years and your still in an entry level buyer position or supervisor, you're stopping other more hard working people who want to excel with the company a chance to do so.
Read through the old posts...there is some mention of it from a few regions.
Michigan stores are running a new gainshare pilot. Much less and more difficult to get.

This is the first I've heard about Gainsharing restructuring...
