I love my job and wanted to do it with WFM for the rest of my career. Now I can apply for a multi-store position but other PBSs in my area have been doing this job longer and one of them will likely get it. I'm just really sad. Although I am not shocked that this happened, it has now changed the rest of my life plans.

I feel ya. on the exact same boat. It was fun while it lasted.
Sure the other people may have more experience and may even be better at their jobs. But seems like they are wanting to pay the lowest wages. So maybe you have a chance!

MTL here. I feel the same way. Very sad. At a disadvantage because I'm newer. And I hate the idea of me getting the job at the expense of my colleagues and partners not having one. It is an all around bad situation.
Don't sign anything until you fully understand what you're signing and how it might affect your ability to collect unemployment.
