Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

The price of oil is going to stay down. And everyone is still whining and bitching. I saw a lot of stupid things done in the machine shop. Everyone tore each other down trying to make themselves look good. Trust me, it never worked. Getting laid off was the best thing that ever happened to me. Weatherford was the worst place I have ever worked, the rumor mill was destroying the company from the inside out. There was a lot of inappropriate behavior, grown men acting like children, no one taking credit for their own mistakes, deleting good programs and keeping bad ones. Programmers who didn't know their left from their right, managers that didn't know which end was up. Most of all I saw a lot of unethical behavior. I'm so glad I am in no way a part of it then or now. I now have a great job, everyone does their job, every employee actually smiles and helps out when problems arise. I make more money, work half the hours and get lots of time off. Goodbye, farewell and good riddance.
