Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

TO PBS:

I could no longer work for a company that has been in a moral and ethical decline for years and in doing so did not sgn with MY core values.

Leaving WFM was like watching my childhood dog die all over again. I will be ok, many of us will rise from this feeling, while still bitter, liberated and ready to invoke a mass change in how we are human beings FIRST.

The tears I shed were not for myself, but for the collective lose of security, identity and something beautiful to believe in. Even people I do not get along with, I hurt badly for them. People cried when I left. It was so bittersweet. I had never worked in a store and left and felt so loved by my coworkers. And it was real.

Big deal, he was gonna do himself in anyway. Time and attendance finals are self administered wounds.

I feel for the marketer who busts her ass running around to different events all the time who no longer has a job at my store.

Fortunately my brother did not make it on time, they will have to fire him tomorrow

Yeah, no sympathy here. The time and attendance policy is beyond generous. Set two alarms and utilize LOAs.

Today we lost TMs who had nothing but gold stars in their TM files. TMs who were smart enough to check option one because they recognize that this is not the company that we wish it still was and sticking around for whatever comes next is not worth it.

Exactly, We are talking about good hard working tm's with positions that no longer exist. Not tm's with time and attendance issues.

If he was on Final he shouldn't be working anyways. How many lame ass excuses/chances do you need? WAKE UP!

Final means he would have had excessive time and attendance issues. Same offense too.
