Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Oct 6-8 Calgary

Seems to be the consensus for dates for Calgary from multiple sources. Most will be done the 6th

167997 - if only we were so lucky. Eliminating SCM should have been the COST team idea all along. Instead they've opted to eliminate actual productive employess who won't easily be replaced. You can find a Paul Miller on any street corner, you CAN'T find good Engineer/Geoscientist (you know, the people who actually get the commodity out of the ground)as they don't grow on trees. COP is quickly becoming a place that no experienced/skilled professionals, of sound mind, will come to work

Contractor is moving in to 15, that is why it is blocked off in Outlook. I guess they could still use it for layoffs before they move in

I just went to have a look at 15. The meeting rooms are emptied of tables and chairs. Weird enough, they were replaced with massage tables! Could it be a happy ending after all?
