Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Any non-titled ft cuts??

I am hearing rumors that full-time tms, not leadership or specialists, who have been with the company for a long time earning annual raises and are therefore expensive for whole foods to pay, are also getting laid off. Can anyone confirm?

Yes alot of ft tms are being let go in SW.

Sime ft tms work multiple depts to maintain status as ft...so theyre double screwed there.

From cashiers, receivers, porters, cashup even...ugh.. all ft in some way or another.

Also the comment about firing wo severence...yeah they will do that too. Because now they can give adequate notice and no severence is req. Its your choice then. They hope ppl will just quit.

Capped out, higher than average wage and those on final warning are first to go.

In SW bulk specialists and frozen specialists are going away in many stores.

They are the lucky ones - now they will find "cause" to fire the rest of us without severance.
