They can't promise that, and if the order comes down the chain of command to cut more tm's, they will have to. All this false hope bs is sickening. Just 3 weeks ago they told us no one would be laid off... That turned out to be faaaar from true. I anticipate more lay offs (round 2 of ?), kind of hope I'm next. Just give me the blood money and I'll be on my way. This is not the same company I started with 2 years ago. Shame.

There will be cuts. They are lying to retain people through the holiday season.
Previous poster correct!!! Team mergers in Jan!! possible buy out by June. Trying to make company more attractive to buyer. Whole foods is being the dick now so that the new company can look like the savior. Also like previous poster... Not meant to scare just prepare! Don't sit on your hands and let whole foods control your future. Just start weighing your options out . Be as calculating as they are... Just be better at it.
Stl says no more 2016. We're done. We'll see.
Where has this been "confirmed"? I believe more layoffs are coming but has it really been confirmed?

There will be another round of cuts in January (after the holiday season) to combine Teams. (Bakery+Prepared Foods) (Grocery+Whole Body+Specialty). It has already taken place in Carolina. By doing so, it builds our bench with TLs and ATLs for the upcoming 365 brand. This post is not mention to scare, but solely to get people prepared. Unlike 9/28 (worst day in WFM History) Brace yourselves.
My STL didn't try to spin it and when asked-he said there might be other cuts in the future-but doesn't really know.
