So far MTL's, PBS & ISE have all gone metro. Bulk & frozen buyer no longer a position. They say that's all the cuts this year. Still don't feel stable.

No one will know shit after the meeting anyone who works for whole foods knows nobody knows anything we make it up as we go. If you as regional, store leadership, and tms you will still get 3 answers all different and none completely true. We don't have any real structure just a bunch of morons with big egos make separate and different decisions about the same thing at the same time. They still haven't figured out du and that was 9 months ago! You can make a human being in that time from scratch

I feel bad for the regions where they are not being told anything. Everyone is suffering silently. That is brutal. If the company had any holistic sense left, it would set the bar for this sort of thing as well as organic standards. Transparency would be a part of that. If they would just simply say this is what we know, these are the positions that will be cut and these are the positions that will be available in future, people would be able to make decisions for their future and their families.

Luck to you all.

That meeting was planned a long time ago. I'm not convinced it will result in more cuts. More likely dealing with the aftermath.

I mean, there could essentially be 8 weeks of this, and likely more cuts in January after the holidays. I don't particularly want to lose my job, but I also don't want to work for a company that throws people off the sinking ship with zero hesitation or consideration. I'm mature enough to know that lay offs happen at many jobs and that sometimes it's necessary, but they could've prevented this if they weren't so adamant on opening a ton of new stores since they knew they've been on the decline for a few years now.

Is this meeting at Regional or in stores? We were told no more cuts (for the time being) after the initial news dropped Friday. I have my doubts about that.

There's a meeting at 10 this morning. We'll all know after that.
