I don't buy it. My store in the RM region hardly lost any TMs aside from the marketing, pbs and ise TMs. Others were removed of title but got to stay on as just full time TMs.

Things just aren't so bad in the NE. We lost ISF, Culinary Demo Specialist and Receiving ATL. Those were the only jobs eliminated and in most cases, the TMs are taking severance of applying for another role.
I am one of the people whose position was axed but was told I can work for the same pay in a different department. Which makes no sense to me. I'm actively looking for a new job because I know the clock is ticking.
I think the rm ran slim to begin with compared to other regions which might be why rm is not as devastated.
I worry for those who supposedly lost their title but were told they can keep their pay and hours. If the layoffs are to cut labor costs, how does it make any sense to let them keep their same pay but lose the title? Sounds like a setup to me. I bet in a few weeks/months when they get axed with no options they will wish they had taken the severance when it was offered.
We lost 19 people only on the first day.
If you read any of the emails or noticed posted and sent out it said the cuts will be happening over the next 8 weeks.
we lost our marketer; backup sign artist, floral spec, grocery buyer, bulk buyer. ma region. open supervisor positions have been taken off the table and labor budgets have been cut.
I know lots of them happened yesterday. My store seemed to get out easy compared to what I am hearing. I am worried that more layoffs are coming despite leaderships claims that they are done.
Do you mean that you expect more layoffs in the future or that you don't believe that many layoffs happened? Because, yeah, plenty of people got axed yesterday. I'm in the RM region, too.
