This company has become shit. You lay off and eliminate buyers jobs for shit reasons. We need more money? Eliminate stupid lovefest and all of the trips to different countries so that we look like "we care about third world countries". Stop flying regional people all over the country 300 days out of the year. They dont know what theyre doing anyway! They come in and want all of the stores to be the same. "This is what we do in chicago" they kill any individualistic qualities of stores. I was told to push allegro because we own it over local coffees that taste and sell better! Oh, and f*** joel braver. That dude is the biggest piece of shit in the MW regional offices. He headhunts people, changes his mind on everything, and never has anything nice to say. I hear you. They have no retail sense. Most of them are related to someone in the company, and that is how they got there $150k a year job. They make decisions based on nothing, but there own weird reasoning. It doesn't matter how much of something we sell. "I don't like the looks of that." Let's remove it right away, because we're not really in the business of selling something we want to prop up someones micro loan scam, or sell someone on the board of directors new diet craze. Its all such a joke, I wouldn't believe any of it if I hadn't worked there for eight years tooo long.
