Q2 is always the toughest quarter for WFM and the quarterly numbers. The stores do massive sales for the US Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons, but there's always massive shrink and over buying which makes it a difficult quarter to hit the numbers. Sales also dip in January through March to the lowest points of the year. I don't think we have seen the last of the layoffs this fiscal year. It's just the beginning.

To the MW, you believe this? We had 30 year original TM cut because she was a specialist. 30 years of regional, local and leadership positions. Dedicated employee and brilliant. You think they are done. They have just begun, they will continue to flay labor until there is nothing left but bones.
Not in the MW. No more layoffs guaranteed for the rest of 2016.
Its true.
People who werent wave 1 better not be shocked.
This was a mercy killing.
