@Anonymous170240 spot on! In all honesty, it's not that hard, just do your job each day the best you can and make sure that you and those around you are doing it safely. If we loose jobs, we will loose more people = business 101. At this point if you get walked, you should be able to walk with your head held high knowing you did your best right to the end.
Amen !!! Makes me sad for my children that this is their world now. Nobody cares about the truth anymore and everyone grasp whatever rumor they can to entertain themselves. Even if it is at the expense of someone else. Lord Jesus help us all!!
Dear 170240, Yes, it is good if you can leave with dignity but that is pretty tough to do for most people who were lied to about the entire job or are just now finding out their own supervisor doesn't even know their name. Some of that is that the snot nosed supervisor has learned to distance him/herself from the employee in order to save themselves. HR preaches this to the upper troops.
This sounds awful, I have been watching this site for days and just reading pure craziness, some of these people act like they didnt have a life before halliburton. O have been here 5 years. 5 years ago if did't make a lot but all 4 of my kids were fed clothes and had a roof over their heads. The money is great but let's keep our heads on straight this stress and worry every one has can get someone injured or even killed if we are worried about being laid off all the time. When you are always worried your performance suffers. So sorry to all that have been laid off and all those who are going to be. Lets leave with dignity!
