We all know people are getting clipped left and right, experienced TM (buyers,supervisors) are losing there jobs over how much they get paid. These are hard working people ,people in who all realty keep whole foods moving . What they should do is start clipping shitty Ast'ls who walk around all day pretend to fill displays and act like there interested.These people the cancers the moral breakers making over60k a year those are the ones who should loose there jobs. God forbid you catch them in the office on there 5th fifteen of the day and ask them for some help or some supplies. They have the ultimate power trip and dismiss you like your nothing like your worthless . Am pretty just off this hint we. Should all know who this is ........he eats guacamole all day and never goes home even after having a new born ohh!!to make it real easy he was seafood regional ...that fat f@$&!

12astl cut here in Fla. One had been with company since old unicorn village days. Totally useless but still managed to kiss the right ass

In my first 5 years with the company, I went from a bagger to a team leader . When I looked at what there was above team leader I realized that I had not seen anyone in store or regional leadership that I aspired to be . So I stopped climbing . I am married to an ASTL, who got there so that he could be the leadership that he never had . He is awesome! However, in line with what you're saying he does not fit in with the group of ASTLs. He's on the floor, he's working behind counters, he's offering support to team leaders and team members, he builds displays, he cashiers. HE IS INVOLVED. It has been apparent in his 5 + years that this is NOT what the regional team wants out of the role.
ASTLs were also offered severances. They are cutting that position in half.
