They already announced this as a part of the Barclays presentation a few weeks ago. The total was raised from 11,000 to 14,000.

10% FT and 30% contractors is the official number in IT. These will continue till Friday.
Not a rumor they began laying off in IT at corporate with a vengeance today even have the audacity to lay off multiple people with disabilities ie: wheelchair, etc.
Announcement will be made on 22nd but cuts are starting this week. Saw H.R getting off elevator on 4th floor (I.T) 1900SJP. Houston.
Heard the same thing. Announcement will be made around Oct 22 earnings call.
