I completely understand, I loved my job, and my team was my extended family. Not once did I tread going to work in the four years I was there. We all had the wool pulled over our eye, but as stated previously: We can live without WFM at our side! Please, remember time IS the best healer. Your body is still in-shock, and you are still in grief mode ( that's understandable) you need positive folks around that can help you move forward. Get any and all the help you can, no matter how small. Take an art class, go on a trip you've always wanted to take, etc... and remember even though this was such cruelty that happened to each one of us ( bad things happen to GOOD people ) another door will open! ...that's the beauty of life, don't give up on yourself. You were meant to do something even better! and not continue to work for such a ruthless company any longer. WFM is changing, in a decade from now, it won't even be recognizable like it once was. Be grateful you will no longer work for Walmart- with perfume!

Get some counseling through the EAP right now or contact your local mental health agency. I know the feeling...everything seems like it's closing in and you feel like you don't have any options. That's not true! You know more than you think you know. Main thing: Stay in touch with people and activate your network. Let them know you're job hunting if that's what you're doing. If you need to work elsewhere, jump right into it and go fill out like five applications a day at places where people seem to like their jobs. Could be anything from other retail to office work, whatever. If you're staying put then simplify your lifestyle, slash your expenses and lie low. The work still needs to get done after all.

Use EAP, it's a service precisely for this reason. It will provide you free sessions to talk about things as refer you to help if needed once the free sessions are over.

that is exactly what it is suppose to do . many haven't been able to sleep. it's a psychological attack on difference levels. first the "love fest" then the giving away of a ton of money, giving the image the company has a lot of money then the abrupt downsizing by using words like we are going to restructure and "grow" for maximum "efficiency". also haveing the STL serve as agents in the mental attack by having them say "no one is losing their jobs", etcs. everyone was attack on a psychological level because of the contradiction message from the company and the managers. its is an orchestrated attack.deliberate not necessary from mackey and the other sell outs but my a hidden force. READ THIS ARTICLE it will explain what im trying to explain

Please reach out to a friend, family or clergy. This is stressful and you are not alone. Take good care.

I can't eat or sleep. Never in my life have I felt so worthless. After eighteen years I am no longer of value to the company I loved. Looking for counseling but my insurance will run out soon.
