Typical EDMC fashion to open up AI Charleston today even though the entire city is under water! They care more about money and sticking with the academic calendar than they do the well being of students, faculty, and staff. Shows how little money they have! Have to pull in those Title IV funds and take every penny they can get to pay back all the lawsuits!

Interesting. The 1st floor is only about 2.8 ' above street level. I didn't Ai had rolled out an aquatics program!
It does not shock me at all. The students had classes in the middle of a polar vortex at ILITP. A lot of these students took public transportation and had to walk on a frontage road along an expressway during sub freezing weather. Admissions had to come in - most called in. I know I did. Get those prospective students in here and sign on the dotted line! No matter what!!!! All in the name of what? Education? Hardly. It's all about CHA-CHING.
Chicago would do the same when we had the blizzard of 2011, and even when the rest of the Chicago system and its schools, and suburbs, are closed for extreme weather, that hell hole is open. Interesting though, is that while faculty are required to show or they are written up, admin is not there, no support, not assistance, and little student (if any) turnout. HELL HOLE.
