Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Hot air.

There will be no protest. There will be no call to action. There will be no charging of corporate offices like there were this week in France. Talk of unionization will be shot down by those who think twenty dollars a month is too much to pay for having a voice with which to negotiate. I will continue to go to work. There will be lots of directionless complaining and no real dialogue. The company will make money. No one will mind.

REALLY, you want to complain about forking over $20/month (estimate) to a Union that is going to help prevent things like this from happening while you "donate" money each pay check to WFM "foundations". With all this lack of trust, has anyone inquired on how "transparant" WFM has been with these programs? I feel that they want to nickel and dime us and trim the fat by firing our hard working TMs, we should have access to a detailed financial report that shows TM contribute onset to these foundations and not to mention our individual store emergency fund. I call BS and think it's a scam. Union is my vote!
