It's funny how this board has morphed into a full fledged WFM employee board, I mean, it's not about layoffs any more, people discuss all kinds of topics here.

I just LOVE this site. Hey guys, I've never met you but I feel I've known you forever.
To me it's a relief to finally get to talk about what's going on. Why didn't I say these things in our morale surveys? Because the morale survey forces me to declare my region, my store, my team, and my level. That's not really anonymous--it would not be all that hard to figure out who I am, and I do fear retribution.
This board is exactly what this company needs. Real employee feedback without retribution.
Like it or not, our TMs have a common culture, yet we had limited means of communicating - I think this place (given the anonymous nature) fills that void. Also, our folks tend to be vocal and opinionated, hence the torrent of messages here from Day 1
You bet they read this. Just yesterday Nona SW RVP was called out on traveling too much and posting pics of her hanging out with all sorts of team members and he FB account was not private. And someone called it out and within a couple hours she changed her FB to private. Guess she read this board! Haha
This board ROCKS! And it's a rare chance to share info across the regions. We're finding out that the same kinds of games are being played everywhere...nepotism, incompetence, lack of accountability...People who seemingly have jobs for life, never fix the big problems (because they ARE the big problems) and are paid insane amounts of money to essentially do nothing but look important. I love the idea of top so-called "leadership" reading this and squirming as they are called out one by one. Here's a good one: The woman in charge of all the Salud locations in South Region has never led a class and is not even a chef. She's never run a Salud location herself either. Her main qualification seems to be that she's friendly with the RP. That's it. I saw what she produced in terms of menus and calendars and they were a JOKE, full of errors, omissions and just bad planning. And her attitude was just as sh*tty as you'd expect. One year she conveniently took a vacation for several weeks in November that included Thanksgiving. NO ONE gets a vacation like that at that time. Also there were recipes featuring items WE DON'T EVEN CARRY, EVER. Another incompetent, insolent bozo foisted on the TMs courtesy of regional. Guess who had to re-write all her calendars? If you guessed every individual Salud director, you're right. So with four locations we had to do four times the work to compensate for one upper-class twit.
Love this idea...like a real anonymous place...unlike the hotline.
Tell all your fellow team members about it and let's have fun and gossip and celebrate ourselves :)
