I've only heard of salaried employees being let go so far this week.
Those that were close to retiring are doing so.
As rigs are stacked once current drilling contracts are up the crews will be laid off.
All Alaska assets are on the chopping block, so layoffs will likely occur as people who go with the assets. If your a transfer, try to get back before you get sold!
Engineering NSOD was hit today.
There were layoffs on the polar tankers departing from Valdez. HR gave severed employees the option to "kiss the gunner's daughter" or walk the plank.
