I belive it's the way we drill and we were dilling like an EXXONBILE and not and independint.
If 175603 is correct then the best thing to do is promote the people who are the problem to get them out of the way
There are other companies doing well there is it their drilling better or is their acreage better
True that the philosopy change buried Unconventional with debt. Long range plan and huge ramp up was what upper management wanted. Spend like there is no end. All groups did the same in COP, but COP thought that Permian Unconventional would the next Bakken and Eagle Ford. Buying leases like crazy and finding nothing worthwhile. You dig when the digging is good. 20/20 hindsight usually shows you what the right path should have been. If Anonymous175603 had been around for than a few years, he would understand that big gains in the oil business is no less that a draw at the black jack table. Sometimes you get the Ace and alot of the time, you get the 5.
Only someone in Permian would make such a stupid statement! Given the current cost and schedule overruns that were not solved through the great crew and philosophy change, Permian Unconventional will never match the performance of Eagle Ford. Terri needs to get rid of "Cry Baybee" Mabee and his surviving crew of networking (aka, a$$kissing) imbeciles. And the major capital projects team that know nothing about unconventional much less delivering a project on time and on budget!
