Weatherford is turning the ship around. Sadly, there are layoffs (just like everyone else in the industry) and it is not an easy, or quick, route. However, the "quick" fixes rarely work...and this strategy of using this time to not only hold on to current clients, but to also gain market share from the uncertainty of the HAL/BHI merger, is the best route to a real "fix". I've also noticed that no one can put anything positive out here without the naysayers showing up in DROVES. No one knows the future so all they can do is continually criticize the past. We can just all hope that the lessons from the past are helping drive the future.

The CEO decided against selling us out with another acquisition for Halliburton work. (The CEO was holding out until the last minute in hopes of the stock going up! If you think it had anything to do with his sense of 'What is good for the company' you are wrong!!!!)

How does he propose to continue to keep bringing in money when he has sold all his assets and fired all his people? If you think this is some kind of long term plan...you are wrong again!)
